Mrs. Lillie Mae Campbell, age 96, of Pinnacle (formally of Pilot Mountain), died Friday May 10, 2013 at her home. Lillie was born May 16, 1916 in Surry County to the late Charlie Edmond Hunt and Nela Anne Ashburn. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and attended Harvest Temple Church of God in King. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Lillie's family was gathered with her to celebrate her long life and to remember her devotion to us all. She was a woman of deep & abiding faith in Jesus Christ. She liked to sing and was so blessed. Lillie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter: Rachel & Rev. Robert Culler of Pinnacle; sons: John E. & Anne Campbell of Pilot Mountain, Cecil & Margaret Campbell of Pilot Mountain, Clarence & Carolyn Campbell of Westfield; grandchildren: Kevin Campbell, Kim Hogwood, Pam Marion, Scott Campbell, Shannon Harbin, Randy Campbell, Teresa Murray & Tonya Reid; 19 great-grandchildren & 2 great- great-grandchildren; along with 2 cousins, several nieces & nephews and special friends: John & Pansy Broughton and Rev. Robbie & Tammy Sizemore. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband: Leoma Campbell; daughter-in-law: Carol J. Campbell sisters: Mozelle Palmer, Etta Stewart, Ida Allen, Pauline Branon; and brothers: Hoy Hunt & Oscar Hunt. Funeral service will be held Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Howell-Nelson Funeral Chapel of Pilot Mountain, conducted by Rev. Tim Wolfe, Rev. Keith Love & Rev. Danny Patterson with interment to follow at Mt. Olive Church Cemetery.
